I wish I could make it all better...

Today we took little Elijah to the allergist to get him tested for his problems with milk and other foods and yes my worst fears came true. He is HIGHLY allergic to milk, peanuts, and egg whites. I felt so bad for him as these huge lumps appeared on his back. He was such a trooper, all the nurses feel in love with him (what is not to love) and he was a perfect gentleman for the doctor. Therefore I will spend part of my day today making Eli friendly menus and cleaning out the cupboards of foods that I will need to donate to friends.

I don't think there is anything more painful then seeing your child in pain or covered in hives for that matter. However when I really think about it besides a few health problems I am blessed to have two beautiful boys who fill each day with so much joy! I pray Eli grows out of these issues but for now we will just plug along and be very careful with food.
